Cloud 9 Lanes

1. Ten frames. Two balls a frame to knock down all ten pins. A strike scores 10 plus your next two balls; a spare scores 10 plus your next ball. Strike or spare in the tenth and you get bonus balls. A perfect game is 300.
2. Your roll. Drag near the bottom of the lane to choose where you stand, drag down the lane to aim, then set your hook and speed. Hold Bowl and let go while the needle is in the green. A pulled release sends the ball off line and weakens the hook.
3. Read the lane. Every frame the oil runs a different distance and the dry boards past it grab the ball differently. The ball skids through the oil and hooks once it reaches the dry part. The guide line shows a clean release as far as the oil runs; in practice and the spare ladder it shows the whole way.
4. Game modes. Ten frames uses the same lane rules and guide for everyone and is the only mode that posts to the monthly board. Practice, the spare ladder, the computer and pass and play never post scores or award rewards.
5. Daily bonus. Post 150 or more in ten frames for the usual daily game bonus, when rewards are enabled. It shares the once-a-day limit and town budget with every other game. No entry fee or wagers.

A ten-frame game stays open for 20 minutes and can be posted once. A session at Cloud 9 lifts your Degens’ mood in town.
